About our Founder
A professor of management and entrepreneur, Karin Sixl-Daniell has been a pioneer in online and blended learning facilitating such courses since 2003. She has been working as an academic at the IIM in Bangalore (India), MCI (Austria), Royal Roads University (Canada), Andrassy University Budapest (Hungary), Karl-Franzens University Graz (Austria), the Singapore University of Social Sciences, Manipal Higher Education (Dubai), Manipal GlobalNxt University (Malaysia) and International University Germany. She was also Co-Programme Director for the blended Programme on Family Business and Entrepreneurship at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Bangalore.
Before focusing on e-learning, Dr Sixl-Daniell was Assistant Professor and Deputy Head at the Institute of International Management, University of Graz, Austria. She was also a member of the Advisory Panel to the INSEAD Financial Education for Women initiative FinEdX and co-authored the book “Wealth Wisdom For Everyone” which was accompanied by a 26 episode TV series on Channel NewsAsia in 2006.
Dr Sixl-Daniell has authored numerous scientific papers in various fields and holds a Doctorate in Social and Economic Sciences (Business Administration) as well as two Masters degrees - one in economics and one in health care management. She also obtained a Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
